Gastroparesis & Reglan
Gastroparesis is a medical condition that consists of the stomach muscles being partially paralyzed. It usually results from damage done to the vagus nerve, (a nerve that controls stomach contractions). Some of the signs and symptoms of gastroparesis include the following:
• Vomiting of undigested food
• Gastroesophageal reflux
• Stomach spasms
• Chronic nausea
One drug that was found to be particularly effective in aiding with gastrointestinal difficulty was Reglan. Unfortunately, the Reglan drug was found to have some serious side effects of its own, including the development of the untreatable and incurable tardive dyskinesia. Reglan has also been found to have negative effects when mixed with other prescribed medications such as Zoloft.
If you’ve been injured by Reglan, you deserve compensation. Fill out our contact form and we’ll set you up with a free legal evaluation. You may be entitled to a large settlement. We can help you. Reach out to us today.
